Outstanding and very reputable Professional Services company downtown Cleveland is looking for an Accounting Manager for an immediate need. This is fully remote position after the first month and until get settled in the position.MUST LIVE IN CLEVELAND AREA - this position will require in office meeting visit's from time to time.Amazing opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team, stability, work / life balance and upward mobility.Highlights:Salary - $150,000 - $170,000 + BonusHybrid work set up until after a month, then 100% remotePlenty of room for growthGreat work life balanceCPA is highly preferredpublic accounting experience is preferredResponsibilities: Manage and support an accounting team of 8, fostering collaboration and operational excellenceAssist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reportingContribute to the preparation and review of financial statements and footnote disclosures in compliance with US GAAPOversee general ledger functions (excluding revenue), ensuring consistency and accuracySupport intercompany transactions and currency exchange processes for global reportingPartner with FP&A and other teams to enhance cash flow forecasting and support data-driven decisionsHelp implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standardsSupport research and documentation for evolving standards and complex transactionsPerform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/companyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to public accounting and SaaS environmentsStrong working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to interpret standardsA relentless commitment to attention to detail, producing high-quality, accurate financial reportingHands-on experience preparing financial statements and footnote disclosuresExperience supporting and mentoring accounting professionalsUnderstanding of internal controls and experience with SOX or similar compliance frameworksProficiency with Major ERP's and other financial reporting toolsAbility to clearly communicate financial concepts and analyze data effectivelyAdaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive mindset
