Demand Planner
In this role, you will be responsible for providing: The Demand Planner will be responsible for activities related to Demand Planning. This includes the day-to-day activities of the materials operations, including Forecasting, Warehouse Inventory Capacity Planning, and Inventory Planning.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for the forecasting process in a manner that will support overall company objectives
Responsible for the forecasting of SKU-level demand processes for any/all locations assigned
Identifies trends at the SKU level and makes the appropriate adjustments to the SKU level forecast
Communicates forecast risk or opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders
Owns the review of forecast accuracy results and executes necessary changes to processes to ensure company success
Participates in international inventory planning and forecasting processes within the company to achieve the company’s financial objectives
I have strong knowledge of planning and MRP concepts, such as time fences, demand input, consumption rules, AMU, and general planning parameters used for production and demand planning calculations
Plans and performs stock movement activities within the system
Maintains regularly the Min/Max/Safety Stock levels in the ERP system
Participates in the Management Operating System KPI’s for Demand Planning
Acts as liaison between the Materials, Sales, Marketing, and Production Planning teams in understanding and communicating customer requirements and inventory levels to meet the exact customer requirements
Analyze annual business plan and warehouse capacity planning to determine discrepancies
Recognize, estimate, analyze, and recommend disposition on slow-moving inventory
Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual and dependable, to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform the job successfully.
Follows all safety procedures required in the work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or University or 5 years’ experience in Demand Planning. Knowledge of computers and information systems. Must have MRP knowledge and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Effectively presents information and responds to questions from Managers, Customers, Suppliers, and others.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and logic
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of 5 years of Demand Planning Experience
English language skills: verbal and written
Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis
Strong computer application skills; proficient in Microsoft Office. Software program knowledge should include, but is not limited to: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong customer focus for a broad range of customers
Ability to prioritize work and multitask
Strong teamwork orientation

Pay: $68,500.00 - $82,000.00 per year
