Physical Therapist - School Setting in Elgin, IL

A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized services within a school setting in Elgin, IL. This role supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade, delivering compensatory PT services tailored to meet individual educational needs.Responsibilities:Provide physical therapy services for 1 hour per week over a 30-week period.Deliver compensatory services to K-12 students to support their educational and physical development.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student success.Qualifications:Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy within educational environments.Ability to provide compensatory services effectively within a school calendar.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to fostering student growth and improving functional outcomes.Location:Elgin, IllinoisContract Details:Start Date: March 30, 2026Duration: Approximately 30 weeks, ending around October 19, 2026Service Delivery: 1 hour per week
