Experienced Commercial Roofer – Service & Repairs

About Us: M&M Building Services LLC is a Michigan-based, woman-owned construction and maintenance company specializing in municipal, educational, and commercial projects. We are currently performing districtwide roofing maintenance and repair work for Detroit Public Schools and are looking to grow our team with experienced professionals. This is steady, long-term work throughout the year. Job Responsibilities: Perform roof leak detection, repairs, and maintenance Complete emergency roofing repairs during active leaks or storm damage Work with various commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, modified bitumen, built-up roofs, and coatings Repair flashing, drains, gutters, and membrane damage Install temporary repairs such as tarping and waterproofing Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members Requirements: Minimum 3 years of roofing experience (commercial preferred) Experience with flat roofing systems and repair work Ability to diagnose and fix roofing issues Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to travel between job sites Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and dependability School Requirements: Must pass a background check Must maintain professional behavior on school property Compensation: $26 to $32 per hour based on experience Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday Overtime available Occasional emergency calls may be required What We Offer: Consistent, year-round work Opportunity for advancement into leadership roles Weekly pay Supportive team environment Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Application Question(s): Can you be available for emergency jobs?
