Bindery OperatorLocation: Toledo, OHDepartment: Digital ProductionMetzgers is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Bindery Operator to join our Digital Production team. In this role, you will play a key part in producing high‑quality finished print products by operating bindery and finishing equipment with precision and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a variety of bindery and finishing equipment, including (but not limited to) folders, cutters, stitching‑trimmers, die‑cutters, and folder‑gluersPerform collating, inserting, assembling, wrapping, shrink‑wrapping, and packaging tasksReview proofs and samples to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standardsRemove, stack, and pack printed materials for shipment or final processingReview and prioritize daily production work in coordination with the customer service teamPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required3–5 years of industry experience operating production or bindery equipment preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machineryAbility to troubleshoot issues and apply basic mathematical conceptsMust be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screenAbout MetzgersSince opening our doors in 1976, Metzgers has operated with a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
