Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in an early childhood education setting. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes developmental growth, literacy, social-emotional skills, and foundational learning. Your expertise will help foster a love of learning while ensuring each child's unique needs are met through innovative teaching strategies and personalized support. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with Ohio Early Learning Standards Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment Lead and support Assistant Teachers Maintain classroom documentation and licensing requirements Build strong partnerships with families Ensure compliance with ODJFS health and safety regulations Qualifications Meets Ohio ODJFS Lead Teacher requirements CPL 2 or higher Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred 2 years experience as lead or CDA or Associates degree in ECE or related field Experience with Creative Curriculum and Step Up to Quality (STUQ) a plus Classroom experience in a licensed childcare center Strong communication and leadership skills Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off
