We are seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager who plays a key role in bringing our food and beverage vision to life through daily execution, team leadership, and elevated service delivery. This role matters because it ensures consistency where it counts moston the floor, in real time, and in every guest interaction. As a direct partner to the Food & Beverage Manager, this position supports operational excellence across outlets while reinforcing service standards, team engagement, and financial discipline. Through hands-on leadership and attention to detail, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager helps create seamless experiences, develops strong teams, and ensures every outlet reflects the quality and care expected in a luxury hotel environment.
What Youll Do
Support daily operations across food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, lounges, and in-room dining to ensure consistent service execution
Act as a visible, hands-on leader on the floor, guiding teams and supporting service during peak periods
Partner with the Food & Beverage Manager to execute operational strategies, service initiatives, and outlet goals
Assist in monitoring staffing levels and support scheduling alignment based on business needs and volume
Uphold service standards, presentation expectations, and operational procedures across all outlets
Support financial performance by assisting with labor management, cost control initiatives, and inventory practices
Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure proper food execution, timing, and presentation standards
Reinforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members, ensuring a strong and consistent service culture
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support to outlet teams
Address guest needs and concerns promptly, ensuring service recovery aligns with hotel expectations
Support coordination of group dining, events, and outlet activations in partnership with Sales and Events teams
Maintain organization and cleanliness of all outlet spaces, service areas, and back-of-house environments
Ensure proper use and care of equipment, tools, and company assets
Model professional appearance and conduct consistent with hotel standards
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
Strong leadership presence with the ability to support and guide teams in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests and team members professionally
Solid understanding of restaurant and bar operations within a hotel or upscale hospitality setting
Ability to support financial performance through labor awareness, cost control, and operational efficiency
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in real time
Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic operational technology
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Ability to remain poised and professional in high-volume environments
Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
1+ years of progressive leadership experience in food and beverage operations within a full-service hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple outlets simultaneously.
Food safety certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
New Mexico alcohol service certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
