Join our flock and get ready to soar.Job DescriptionJob Title: Supervisor of WBC Dairy Production Location: CorporateDepartment: Manufacturing and EngineeringPosition Summary: The Supervisor of WBC Dairy Production is responsible for ensuring production is running smoothly within the WBC Dairy Warehouse. Directs and leads the activities of dairy union associates. Improves both customer and associate satisfaction and ensures all regulation and safety standards are met.Principal DutiesWork with the Dairy & Beverage Plant Manager to develop and enforce associate performance standards. Improve associate satisfaction within the guidelines of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Assess staff requirements and evaluate the qualifications of dairy union associates.Direct and supervise the activities of dairy union associates to put forth a quality Wawa standard product in a safe and efficient manner.Ensure all quality, regulatory (Pasteurized Milk Ordinance, HACCP, OSHA, SQF and Northeast Dairy council Regulations), and related safety guidelines are being carried out by the dairy associates. Assist the Coordinator in the management of the raw material inventory, including ingredients, packaging supplies and production materials.Prepare the annual labor and operating budget for the WBC Dairy and manage to meet goals and expectations.Respond to customer inquiries (internal and external) in a timely manner.Establish controls in shift operations to ensure compliance with sanitation guidelines.Work and communicate with the Plant Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.Prepare the daily production schedule meeting the following requirements; customer orders, keeping acceptable product code dates on inventory, having enough space in ASRS, and gettingproduct in time to meet loadout and dispatch times.Prepare weekly reports on the output and performance of the Dairy.Develop, train and implement the standards for all operating procedures.Assist the Coordinator in the tracking and ordering inventories of ingredients for products manufactured at the Dairy.Prioritize best food safety practices by following all processes and procedures and report any food safety issues to the supervisor or manager.Manage and supervise SQF (Safe Quality Foods) practices.Comply with and enforce all Wawa GMPs, policies and procedures.Provide overall direction and support for team and monitor and assess individual work in accordance with high standards of excellence. Provide feedback, coaching, support, opportunities for development, complete performance appraisals, take corrective action when appropriate, and participate in hiring decisions.
