Industrial Generator Technicians

Generator Source has current openings for experienced Field Service Technicians with experience working on Commercial Generators, ATS'. Great earnings potential ranging from ($32/Hr to $44/Hr depending on experience). Location: Austin, TX. Pay Dependent on Experience. Perks of being a Generator Technician at Generator Source Premium compensation rates for all Generator Technicians Company supplied truck, iPad, credit card, and uniforms Paid vacation, holidays, personal, sick and parental leave days Medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage and 4% Matching 401(k) plan Annual Work Boot Program Tuition reimbursement Employee Referral Program Job Requirements: Four or more years of commercial/industrial experience working on all brands of generators, engines, ATS', and controllers 20% overnight travel possible Must be able to pass a background check and have valid driver's license Strong written and verbal English skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Outlook email/calendars OEM Training, certification and/or EGSA certification preferred Responsibilities: Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Cat, Cummins, Kohler, Generac, Detroit Diesel, and MTU. Troubleshoot, repair and program ATS'. Inspect, repair, service and start-ups, and ability to perform load bank tests. Deliver exceptional customer service. Thorough and timely completion of job documentation. Provide on call services as required. Ability to participate in on-call rotation. Physical Demands: Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work. 85% physical activity required on customer site working with heavy equipment 15% administrative tasks and technical support activities Physical Activity: May involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-75 pounds) Frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
