Position Available: JV3 Volleyball Coach Part Time (3-month position) Major Responsibilities: Provide coaching for the JV3 volleyball team Oversee all team activities for the JV3 volleyball team Work with the Varsity coach to determine the system of play to be implemented by the JV3 team Knowledge and implementation of fundamental skills & strategies used in volleyball Work in collaboration with the school’s head volleyball coach to provide an optimum volleyball program for St. Mary’s student athletes Be an ambassador of St. Mary’s to all competitors, the community and the media Qualifications: Successful volleyball coaching background or related job experience Ability to perform all physical duties for this position Current in all OSAA/NFHS required certification or willing to acquire Flexibility, collaborative, and demonstrates positive communication skills Ability to teach players of various skill levels Ability to collaborate with the varsity coach and other assistant coaches Salary Seasonal wage depending on experience Based on 2024-25 SMA coaching stipend scale Closing Date: When filled Application Procedure Complete the coaching application from the Careers on our school website, send it along with a Letter of Introduction and resume to athletics@smapdx.org prior to the closing date.
