We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong data automation and Snowflake expertise to support a large-scale enterprise data integration and processing initiative. This role is ideal for senior-level engineers who have hands-on experience building automated data exchange solutions, developing scalable Snowflake pipelines, and working closely with business and technical stakeholders in complex environments.The selected candidate will help design, develop, and optimize automated data processing workflows and integrations with external partners while contributing to modern cloud-based data engineering solutions.Location & Work ModelHybrid role based in Austin, TexasOnsite: Tuesday, Thursday, FridayRemote: Monday and WednesdayLocal Austin-area candidates onlyCandidates must currently reside in TexasDurationContract through August 2026Extension possibleUp to 1040 hoursKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Python-based automation solutions for enterprise data exchange and processingBuild and maintain Snowflake-based data workflows and ingestion pipelinesDevelop and optimize Snowpipe implementations for automated data ingestionCreate and maintain Snowflake User Defined Functions (UDFs)Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather technical and business requirementsAnalyze existing systems and recommend process improvements and automation opportunitiesDevelop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance data processing solutionsSupport troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and production support activitiesParticipate in system design discussions and technical documentationRequired Qualifications8+ years of professional Python development experienceStrong experience developing enterprise automation solutionsExperience integrating and exchanging data with external partners/systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently on complex technical initiativesPreferred QualificationsExperience developing solutions within SnowflakeHands-on experience with SnowpipeExperience building Snowflake UDFsExperience developing custom user interfaces integrated with Snowflake solutionsExperience with cloud-based data engineering and ETL automationExperience working in large enterprise or public-sector environmentsAdditional InformationStandard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CSTOccasional after-hours or weekend support may be requiredInterviews will be conducted in person
