The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures while ensuring accuracy, quality control, and compliance with laboratory standards and healthcare regulations.The candidate must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and experience handling complex laboratory instruments and procedures. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform laboratory testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Blood Bank departmentsAnalyze patient specimens and accurately report test results within established turnaround timesOperate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipmentEnsure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and facility laboratory policies and proceduresPerform quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and proficiency testing activitiesReview abnormal test results and notify physicians or nursing staff when necessaryMaintain accurate laboratory documentation and patient recordsAssist with specimen collection, preparation, and processing as neededFollow infection control and safety protocols at all timesCollaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient careRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related fieldASCP/AMT/Equivalent Medical Technologist certification requiredMinimum 1–2 years of recent clinical laboratory experience preferredExperience working in hospital or acute care laboratory settingsStrong knowledge of laboratory methodologies, instrumentation, and quality standardsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentPreferred SkillsBlood Bank experience preferredExperience with automated laboratory systems and EMR/LIS platformsStrong troubleshooting and critical-thinking abilitiesFlexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays if requiredAbout Encode INCAt Encode, we empower organizations and individuals through innovative, human-centric workforce and technology solutions.
