We aim to create a safe space where everyone belongs and can contribute to the organization in a way that is authentic and genuine to them.DutiesResponsible for the following job duties:Serves as a visible and trusted representative of ReadyKids, facilitating youth and family wellbeing initiatives including youth mental health and wellness groups, prevention programming, fatherhood engagement, family activities, mentorship, and re-entry support, with a strong emphasis on uplifting and supporting BIPOC youth, families, fathers, and male professionals within the community.Working closely with the Director of Community Engagement, this role provides community outreach, advocacy, and in-person resources while participating in seminars, presentations, community conversations, partner meetings, and public engagement opportunities.Facilitates and coordinates support groups for boys, men, fathers, and male BIPOC professionals, while serving as both a community voice and listening ear to strengthen partnerships, gather feedback, and help connect individuals and families to meaningful resources, opportunities, and support services.Some evening and weekend hours are required. RequirementsSuccessful candidates will have:Education/Training and/or equivalent experience in working with youth and familiesFamiliarity with the needs and issues of our community.Familiarity with and ability to utilize computer programs or willingness to learn.This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel regularly to and from outreach events, community partner meetings, organizational activities, and the ReadyKids office, with the ability to comfortably utilize either a personal vehicle or a ReadyKids vehicle for community engagement and outreach responsibilities.BenefitsCompensation/Benefits:Salary: starting at $46,645For employee-only coverage, ReadyKids pays 90–100% of health insurance premiums and 100% of dental and life insurance premiumsVoluntary vision and supplemental insuranceGenerous paid vacation and sick leave; paid holidaysEmployer-matched retirement plan
