Oncology Radiation, part-timePosition PurposeThe RN Specialist-Radiation Oncology oversees and coordinates nursing care for the patients in the Department of Radiation Oncology.Provides ongoing and episodic case management to patients and families undergoing cancer care and treatment with referrals to other disciplines and programs as appropriate.Provides physical assessment and attention to radiation therapy side effects to provide optimal pain and symptom management.Provide counseling, education and direct nursing care as appropriate.Maintains accurate treatment records.Act as an advocate for patient and family by respecting and encouraging informed choice.Minimum QualificationsGraduate from a School of NursingCurrent license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio requiredA minimum of two years recent and relevant clinical experience in Oncology.
