Job TitleProgram Representative - Materials Availability Team US-CT-GrotonJob DescriptionThis position supports Electric Boats Materials Management activities associated with routing Hot Sheets and supporting clearing rejected material via RRB (Rejection Review Board) within the APPLE CORE and BI (Business Intelligence) system. In this role you will be required to manage the Hot Sheets and rejected material by expediting and prioritizing to improving the turnaround times. Your responsibilities would encompass program management, data management, project reporting, expediting, and metric reporting.Additionally, you would experience significant interaction with various customers which include Engineering, Purchasing, Program Office and various Warehouse & Quality DepartmentsThe responsibilities of this role may expand to other special projects as programs develop.Candidates require daily use of various reports and computer driven systems.*This position is on site in our Groton, CT facility.ResponsibilitiesFamiliarity in quality control or quality analyst functionsFamiliarity in supply chain management applications (MRPII/Oracle)Good organizational skills and keen attention to detailGood PC computer skills are required.Strong project management and prioritization skills.Candidates must be a Team Playerand highly motivated.Willing and able to interact effectively with all levels of management.Strong communications (Written and Oral) and Interpersonal skills.Ability to function independently and work in a multi discipline TEAM environment.Willingness to assist with issues using independent judgment, ingenuity, creativity and sound Decision-makingAbility to analyze / interpret technical data and provide solutions to effectively schedule material in support of programsWillingness to work overtime and weekends when it is required.QualificationsRequirements:High School Diploma or G.E.D. eqivalent2+ Years Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management or project planning in a similar industry that encompasses material requirement identification, scheduling, and ordering activities.Familiarity in quality control or quality analyst functionsFamiliarity in supply chain management applications (MRPII/Oracle)Demonstrated experience in using all Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros and graph/chartsAbility to multi-task and work in a high pace environmentPreferred:Bachelors DegreeMilitary experience or Shipyard/Shipbuilding experienceSPARS, MRPII, and ORACLE experience
