Windows Server Support Engineer (Freelance Contractor)Location: Fully RemoteContract: 6 Months Initial Contract (Extension Expected)Rate: €300 per dayOverviewWe are looking for an experienced Windows Server Support Engineer to provide remote support and administration for a Windows-based infrastructure environment. This is a freelance contract role with an initial 6-month term and a strong likelihood of extension.ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.Troubleshoot server, infrastructure, and networking issues.Perform patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance.Monitor system performance and availability.Maintain technical documentation and support processes.Required Skills3+ years' Windows Server support experience.Strong knowledge of:Windows ServerActive DirectoryGroup PolicyDNS/DHCPPowerShellExperience with VMware or Hyper-V.Good understanding of networking fundamentals.Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
