DescriptionBenefits Include:Health, dental, vision, and 401-K plan.Employer paid long term disability and life insurance for all full-time employees.Paid holidays after 60 days of employment.Employee referral bonuses.Summary:The Drill Operator/Locator position is responsible for assisting the foreman in all aspects of the job for timely completion to include tracking, boring, trenching, pull fiber, install ground boxes, plow, and other assigned duties to complete the job. ***Must have a Class A CDL Commercial License.Required Qualifications/Experiences:3+ years' experience in tracking bores and fluent in heavy equipment operationsKnowledge of terminology associated with boring.Attention to detail and initiative to be self-motivated and directed.Ability to listen, follow directions and communicate effectively.Ability to manage time and work independently or with other team members.OSHA Certified.Must have a valid CDL Class A driver licenseEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct daily safety briefingsAlways Maintain safe working conditions.Maintain condition, functionality and always use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).Must be able to Operate equipment efficientlyLocate with accuracy to assist machine operators shooting bores.Travel as required for jobs to ensure projects are on schedule.Must maintain a Class A CDL or be able to obtain one in 60 days.Required to disclose personal information to our clients in order to be allowed on the client's premises to complete required job duties.Other assigned duties by leadership team.Demonstrate and attain CDL Core Values:SafetyPeopleIntegrityAccountabilityExcellenceDemonstrate and attain CDL Core FocusCustomer SatisfactionPhysical Demands:Standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or sitting for long periods of time.Push/Pull/Lift/Moving 80 pounds repeatedly.Working in adverse weather conditions.Walking on steep inclines covered with loose rock or ballast.
