Python Backend Developer

Role: Python Backend Developer - AWSLocation: Malvern, PA - onsiteLong term contractKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Python and AWS cloud services.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.Develop serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge.Implement cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.Design and optimize data pipelines for processing large-scale datasets.Integrate applications with third-party APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and logging tools.Implement security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and Solution Architects to deliver high-quality solutions.Required SkillsProgrammingStrong experience in Python development.Expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding principles.Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django frameworks.AWS CloudStrong hands-on experience with:AWS LambdaEC2ECS/EKSS3RDSDynamoDBAPI GatewaySNS/SQSCloudWatch
