About the JobTitle: Java Full Stack Software EngineerLocation: Holyoke, MA (Hybrid – 2 Days/Week Onsite)Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months)Status: Accepting CandidatesAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Engineer to join a collaborative development team supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong back-end development experience with Java and Spring Boot, along with front-end expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks. This role involves developing scalable, high-quality applications while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.Develop back-end services using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.Build responsive front-end applications using React, Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.Design and optimize SQL queries and database objects in Oracle and PostgreSQL.Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.Collaborate with developers, QA, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.Participate in code reviews and implement best coding practices.Support application deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong experience with Java 17/21.Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.Front-end development experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.Experience working with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Bootstrap, Thymeleaf, and AJAX.Experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS, and SQS.Experience using GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.CompensationPay Rate: $60–$65/hour (W-2)Final rate will be based on skills, experience, and interview outcome.
