Revenue Cycle Manager

Revenue Cycle Manager — United TheranosticsWe're bringing cancer care closer to home.United Theranostics is building a network of nuclear medicine clinics that deliver precision molecular imaging and targeted radionuclide therapies right in patients' local communities — care that used to require traveling to a major academic center. We're growing fast, and we need a Revenue Cycle Manager who can keep the engine running as we scale. The role in plain termsThis isn't a "sit in meetings and review reports" job. You'll own the day-to-day performance of our entire revenue cycle — and when claims are stacking up or a payer issue is threatening reimbursement, you'll roll up your sleeves and work it alongside your team. You'll report to the Senior Director and partner with clinical, operational, finance, IT, and credentialing teams to keep everything moving. What your week actually looks likeRunning the cycle end-to-end You'll oversee every step from patient registration and insurance verification through charge entry, coding, claim submission, payment posting, and collections. Work queues, aging reports, claim edits, rejection trends — these are your dashboards. Timely filing? Never an issue on your watch.Winning the denial fight Denials, underpayments, appeals — you'll work them directly, spot the patterns, and partner with clinical teams to fix root causes (not just symptoms). When a payer issue is systemic, you'll escalate it with the data to back it up.Building the team You'll lead, coach, and grow our revenue cycle staff. That means setting KPIs and holding the line on accountability, but also jumping in during crunch periods, running training, and developing people who want to grow with us.Connecting the dots You'll coordinate with third-party billers, payer reps, credentialing, and operations. When we open a new clinic, you'll be central to standing up the revenue cycle side of go-live.Making it better SOPs, dashboards, workflow improvements, smart use of technology to kill manual work — you'll find the inefficiencies and fix them. Senior leadership will look to you for the operational reporting that drives decisions.Patient experience matters too Billing is often a patient's last touchpoint with us. You'll help make sure it's a clear, respectful one. What you bringBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field10+ years in revenue cycle management (outpatient clinic or hospital experience strongly preferred)Hands-on experience setting up and managing payor contractsDeep knowledge of Medicare, billing codes, reimbursement, and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical chops — comfortable in dashboards, reports, and the numbers behind themA real problem-solver and process improver (not just a process follower)Strong communicator who works well across clinical, operational, and finance teamsProficiency with RCM software and claims dashboardsIndependent operator who can juggle multiple prioritiesOpen to travel up to 10%Why this role is worth a lookYou'll be operationally central to a company doing something that genuinely matters — bringing advanced cancer care to patients who'd otherwise have to travel hours to get it.
