Sensor Engineer - Biometric & Physiological Sensing

This position is based in San Francisco, CA and requires regular in-office work due to the hands-on nature of hardware prototyping.ResponsibilitiesLead development of next-generation biometric sensing systemsBuild functional prototypes integrating sensor, electrical, mechanical, and firmware componentsConduct data analysis and early-stage algorithm development to evaluate feasibility and implement solutionsDevelop and execute sensor development plans from concept through production readiness for systems designed to operate autonomously and reliably at large scaleCollaborate with product development and software/firmware teams to transition prototypes into production-ready designsQualifications4+ years of industry experience developing sensing systems with demonstrated innovationStrong system-level engineering mindset with hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical prototyping (e.g., PCBA development, rapid 3D prototyping)Experience with signal processing software development and embedded system prototypingBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience
