Lead Ct Radiologic TechnologistArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Lead CT Radiologic Technologist who will function in a lead capacity and produce CT's and/or radiographs during specialized procedures for the diagnosis of neurological, cardiologic, vascular disorders, joint, lung, venous, throat, breast, arterial, and/or spinal disorders. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.Conditions of Employment Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education. On-call Schedule: Incumbents scheduled to be on-call must be able to arrive to the hospital within 1 hour after receiving a call. Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.Minimum RequirementsCandidates must possess all of the following: Certification: Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association Venipuncture Certification for contrast media Registration: Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist Experience: Three (3) years of recent experience within the past five (5) years as a Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist/ CT Technologist, which includes (1) one year in an acute care setting and (2) two years in a hospital or ambulatory setting.Desired QualificationsOne (1) year of experience as a lead technologist or supervising technologist is highly desirable.Selection ProcessApplication Procedure: Applications will be accepted until a sufficient number of qualified applications are received.
