Our North America headquarters is in Marietta, GA, and executes projects in the US, Canada, and Mexico.Position Summary The Senior Site Manager will manage the daily safety operations of self-performing and subcontracted installation staff while they are engaged in the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of all project related systems. The Senior Site Manager will report all construction safety related activities to the Construction Manager and project team.Key ResponsibilitiesInvolvement with project development and pre-construction planning activities including scheduling, estimating, safety, and staffing.Involvement in developing the start-up and commissioning plans. Manage and audit the commissioning process for safety related concerns.Foster and manage a strong HSE / EHS environment (Beyond Zero) between trades, client(s), design which adheres to project and OSHA safety requirements.Supervise safety for the construction and progress of mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and related architectural and structural scopes.Lead and manage safety for the construction project team through site mobilization, execution, and demobilization activities.Review and approve all internal and subcontractor safety field reporting.Lead teams by motivation and direction typically through multiple site superintendents, construction managers, and functional managers by driving a successful project delivery process.Interface with factory engineers and managers of operations, to coordinate safe construction within live facilities without impact to production.Solve problems in a timely manner while coordinating with appropriate stakeholders.Complete the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that HSE, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met.Ability to safely manage self-perform installations with mechanical, electrical, and steel erection scope.Responsible for project reporting inclusive ofDaily Log ReportingConduct organized and professional administration of HSE at the Airport location.Act as an administrator in the HSE Velocity system and perform activities of an administrator such as correction of entries and review of incident investigations.Master Velocity EHS safety software and become very familiar with obtaining records and reports from the system.Perform periodic and regular site safety audits and inspections. Monitor inspection reports and monitor corrective actions for follow up and completion.Manage all aspects of site training, including the tracking of training and ensuring all are sufficiently trained.Manage all aspects of incident investigation, corrective actions, and work with Site supervision to ensure all incidents are fully investigated and documented.Analyze accident/incident trends and develop/implement recommendations to improve safety behaviors and safety record.Manage all aspects of environmental management for the site.Actively support the return-to-work process and the site management to optimize return-to-work timeliness and opportunities to return-to-work with light duty restrictions.Establish and maintain good working relationships with the peers, management, and site personnel.Assures that toolbox talks are executed, signed by workers and filed.Manage preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and work order process for facility maintenance.Reviews of PTP’s and AHA’s from subcontractors.Site Safety PlanSite Management PlanInstallation Work Plans Step Plans, Pre-Activity Plans and Tie in PlansRequirements8+ years of experience in construction environments and facility maintenance.Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), Auto CAD, NAVIS Works, Bluebeam Extreme, Procore and Smartsheet.OSHA 500 certificationFirst Aid/CPR certified Preferred QualificationsExperience with online systems for data entry and reporting is preferred.Demonstrated abilities for conducting training. This is a full-time, exempt position, eligible to receive a salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
