Cardiopulmonary Nurse Specialist (RN)Make a meaningful impact as a Cardiopulmonary Nurse Specialist supporting patients with complex cardiopulmonary conditions. In this field-based, hybrid role, you will combine clinical expertise, education, and partnership to improve patient experiences and strengthen relationships with pulmonary hypertension centers and care teams. This role is ideal for a compassionate, growth-minded nurse who enjoys autonomy, learning, and collaboration.ResponsibilitiesServe as a clinical liaison between Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) centers, pulmonary physicians, hospitals, and internal specialty pharmacy teamsAct as a trusted clinical resource for high-volume regional PAH referral sourcesProvide patient and caregiver education, including therapy-specific training, to support safe and confident treatment useDeliver clinical education and competency support to healthcare professionals and external partnersCollaborate with internal teams to align clinical insights with patient and provider needsParticipate in pulmonary hypertension support group meetings and represent the organization at national cardiopulmonary conferencesTravel within a large geographic region to provide in-person clinical supportRequired QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingMinimum 5 years of nursing experience in cardiac, pulmonary, or critical care settings, including experience with PAH or CTEPH patientsValid driver's license and ability to travel extensivelyAvailability to work MondayFriday, daytime hours, with occasional evenings or weekends as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN) or advanced clinical educationExperience in a clinical educator, liaison, or specialty support roleStrong communication skills and comfort working independently in the fieldIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
