Purchasing Electronics Components Support

Job Title: Electronics Component Purchasing Support Location: West Hartford, Connecticut (Local only) Duration: 6 months Visa: USC, GC only Note- We’re looking for someone with more specific electronics purchasing experience, we are willing for the person to work remote if they have the right electronics background. A large part of our business is supported by the purchase of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA’s) that support our Engine Controls product line. The current sub-component marketplace for electronics has been extremely challenging as of late, with sub-tier suppliers de-commiting deliveries just days/weeks before their projected ship dates. We are in need of extra manpower to support finding alternative components in the market Purchasing or Engineering experience in the Aerospace Electronics market relationships with distributors/brokers technical knowledge on components (sensors, capacitors, resistors, etc) Note- We don’t need a technical engineering resource to help approve/validate alternates (as our Engineering team has to support that activity), but instead are looking for someone with Electronics knowledge that could support the Purchasing Team locate identical components from a broker or work with our Engineering team to get a viable alternate approved. Job Type: Contract Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: On the road
