Safety Supervisor
Job DescriptionThis is an on-site safety leadership role in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. The Safety Supervisor owns the full safety program - compliance, training, incident response, and regulatory reporting - with a particular focus on OSHA, FDA, and food production standards.What You'll Do:Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and conduct employee training on equipment handling, hazardous materials, and emergency responseConduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and investigate workplace accidents and near-missesCollaborate with quality assurance to ensure food safety protocols align with OSHA and FDA standardsDevelop and maintain emergency response plans, including fire drills and equipment readinessInspect machinery and cold storage areas and ensure safe handling of chemicals, including cleaning agents and refrigeration gasesRequirements3+ years of experience in workplace safety, preferably in food manufacturingWorking knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and food safety regulationsStrong leadership, communication, and training skillsBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred; OSHA 30, CSP, or similar certification is a plusBenefitsFull Benefits Package - see attachedMedicalDental401k/up to 6% match
