Title- AEM Developer Client: Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Reference ID: SCTASK RITM1765690 ITSAC Role: Developer/Programmer Analyst II (Mapped to Level III)📍 Location & Work ScheduleLocation: Texas Department of Transportation Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Onsite Requirement: 4–5 days/week (mandatory) Local Requirement: Candidates must reside in the Austin, TX area Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. ⏳ Duration & RateDuration: 9–10 months (with possibility of extension) Total Hours: 1680 hours 💼 Position OverviewThe Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking an experienced AEM Forms Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive digital forms and workflows using the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise along with excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver scalable digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Form Design & Development: Create and update adaptive, HTML5, and PDF forms, ensuring dynamic capabilities, fillable fields, Form Templates, Adobe Sign and user-friendly layouts. • AEM Configuration: Implement and maintain custom AEM Forms components, templates, and OSGi workflows to meet project requirements. • Assist with migration of Adobe Lifecycle designer to AEM Forms: This includes working with business to understand the current requirements for forms built using Adobe Lifecycle and assist with migration to AEM Adaptive or HTML Forms. • Integration: Connect AEM Forms with backend systems, identity management to enable seamless data flow. • JavaScript & Validation: Develop custom scripts for form logic and data validation • Proficient in Front End Development: HTML, CSS and JavaScript proficiency • Adobe Repository/Version control: Skilled in version control, branching strategies and deployment. • Performance & Accessibility: Optimize forms for fast loading, multi-browser compatibility, and adherence to accessibility standards like 508 compliance. • Collaboration: Work with business users and analysts, UI/UX designers, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions with AEM Forms technical considerations in mind. • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve form functionality issues, provide ongoing maintenance, and support form deployments. • Documentation: Prepare technical specifications and document architectural designs for AEM initiatives. • Other duties as assigned Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field • 8+ experience as an AEM Forms Developer • 8+ experience in the AEM platform • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities• Excellent customer interaction skills • Working knowledge of content management systems Preferred Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of other AEM platform capabilities such as AEM Sites, DAM and AEM Guides.
