Research and analyze complex tax issues to identify potential tax savings and compliance opportunities. Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Respond to IRS and state tax authority notices and inquiries. Assist with tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities. Mentor and train junior staff members. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA certification required. 3+ years of experience in public accounting. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax software (e.g., GoSystem Tax RS, CCH Axcess). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
