Role OverviewAs a Java Developer Contractor, you will support the development and maintenance of high-performance Java-based applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in building scalable services and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java applications with high performance and responsivenessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs with clear contracts and versioning strategiesPerform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for production issuesParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practicesProvide technical leadership including architecture guidance and mentoringStay up to date with the latest Java technologies and recommend improvementsRequired Skills & ExperiencePrimary Skill: Java (Advanced – 6 to 9 years)Strong experience in Java service development (design, build, troubleshoot production systems)Deep expertise in:Spring Boot / Spring FrameworkSpring Security (authentication, authorization, secure design principles)Strong experience in RESTful API design & development, including:API versioningBackward compatibilityDocumentation standardsProven technical leadership experience:Architecture decision-makingCode reviewsMentoring developers
