What Youll Do
As a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney, you will represent employers, insurance carriers, and TPAs in all stages of litigation. You will manage a full caseload within a highly efficient, paperless workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients at WCAB hearings, conferences, and trials throughout California.
Conduct and defend depositions (Applicants, PQMEs, and AMEs).
Draft complex pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements (C&Rs, Stips).
Provide strategic legal advice to claims adjusters and insured clients.
Collaborate with dedicated legal assistants to drive claims toward favorable resolution.
What Were Looking For
Experience: 2–10 years of dedicated California Workers' Compensation defense experience.
Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) and an active member in good standing with the California State Bar .
Skills: Proven track record of appearing before the WCAB and managing a high-volume caseload.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dictation software and paperless case management systems.
Bonus: First or second chair trial experience and significant doctor deposition experience.
