In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of energy-related software-defined features and functions, ensuring alignment across software, hardware, and vehicle integration timelines. Join us in driving the future of mobility.Essential Responsibilities & Activities:Monitor and track all energy-related features and functions to ensure alignment with hardware development timelines and program milestonesApply deep knowledge of software-defined feature and function decomposition to validate requirements and keep feature owners on trackSupport the overall Technical Program Manager (TPM) in achieving Energy Systems program objectivesEnsure R&D processes are clearly communicated, understood, and followed within the Energy Systems organizationOwn end-to-end delivery of assigned system functions in alignment with the V-Model development processCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software, EE, hardware, calibration, integration, and manufacturingLeverage domain expertise in software controls, EE, electronics, and hardware systemsApply first-principles engineering and structured problem-solving methodologiesLead and/or support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily standupsDevelop, support, and maintain best practices, standards, test procedures, and technical specificationsAttend integration meetings and proactively communicate milestones and dependencies to Energy Systems teamsOwn and manage the master energy systems timeline, ensuring synchronization across teams and deliverablesSupport issue resolution across development and integration phasesTravel as requiredAll other duties as assignedThermal specific & Calibration Responsibilities:Support the Calibration team in developing Thermal and Climate DVPsCoordinate and refine control algorithms for advanced EV thermal management systemsSupport calibration of thermal and climate functions to deliver optimal vehicle and customer performanceEnsure thermal systems meet safety, performance, and environmental regulatory requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal calibration solutions into the overall vehicle architectureLead testing, validation, and optimization of control algorithmsDrive issue resolution related to thermal calibration and software functionalityRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field8+ years of experience in Software Defined Feature and FunctionWorks well in a team and fosters a collaborative, innovative work environmentStrong background functioning within an SDV environmentComfortable dealing with ambiguity and working with incomplete or evolving informationGerman language proficiency preferredAbility to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teamsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailStrong proficiency with verbal and written communication skills, analytical problem solving, and creativityWillingness to travel, as neededBenefits401K with company matchingPTO (Paid Time Off) starts at 20days/year with 1 day accumulation per yearHealth/Dental/Vision insurance starts on date of hireHealth saving accountFlexible spending accountLife insuranceShort-Term & Long-Term Disability (covered 100% premium)Tuition reimbursementTraining and DevelopmentPaid HolidaysEmployee assistance programEmployee DiscountReferral program
