Job Description:
· The nuclear Medicine technologist provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
· He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner.
· He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.
Required Qualifications:
· Coursework/Training: Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
· National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire. Or
· National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
· California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
· National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
· 6 months of experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).

Pay: $89,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
