Responsibilities
The Physics Department at New York Institute of Technology has openings for part-time (adjunct) faculty for the Spring 2026 semester. New faculty hires will be assigned to physics labs or lectures. Prepare and teach a lecture-based undergraduate physics course for the Spring 2026 semester, offer weekly availability to meet with students for office hours, submit grades and other records in accordance with academic policies.
Qualifications
The candidates must have a minimum Master's degree in physics and prior experience in teaching college. Candidates should have prior experience in remote an LMS (such as Canvas) for course delivery. All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation, as needed, before the start of the semester.

Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.
