Manager, GitHub DevOps Engineer/Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, GitHub DevOps Engineer/Architect to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.This role will shape enterprise DevOps and engineering strategies for client organizations undergoing technology transformation. The manager will lead assessments, workshops, and advisory engagements that improve delivery, governance, and automation across cloud and hybrid environments. The work will also include guiding modern software engineering practices, DevSecOps adoption, and AI-enabled development processes.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $155,200 – $184,300 annuallyResponsibilities Define and implement Azure DevOps strategies aligned with client goals Lead transformative GitHub and engineering strategies for enterprise clients Conduct assessments and workshops with stakeholders to drive innovation Champion modern practices in software engineering and DevSecOps across projects Design and implement governance models and repository strategies for GitHub Enterprise Architect CI/CD pipelines and optimize GitHub Actions workflows for efficiency Advise clients on AI-enabled development processes and governance practicesQualifications 7+ years of IT experience with hands-on experience in cloud, GitHub, and DevOps 2+ years in a lead, architect, or senior technical role Proven ability to design and deploy scalable cloud solutions Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for CI/CD Proficient in scripting and automation, including PowerShell, Bash, and Python Experience advising on DevOps best practices and aligning technology solutions with business goals Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and network solutions like VPNsBenefits Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies like AI and DevOps Collaborative work culture focused on innovation and excellence Professional development opportunities through workshops and direct client interactions Access to a network of expert colleagues across various disciplines Involvement in client-facing engagements that shape pivotal technology transformationsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
