Electrical jobs include maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery used in production and manufacturing.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical work and repairs on industrial/mining equipmentInstall, adjust and maintain all electrical equipment, gauges and instrumentsTroubleshoot, evaluate and coordinate electrical needs, repairs and modificationsEnsure that manufacturers standards of repair and maintenance are performed on all equipmentPerform additional responsibilities as requested or assignedMaintain good housekeepingAdhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all timesWear proper safety equipment while on plant groundsMeet or exceed company safety standardsPerform other job responsibilities as assigned by managementQualifications5 years electrical maintenance experience3 years experience in aggregate, cement or heavy industrial operations preferredPower distribution experience or understanding up to 4,160 voltsProgrammable logic control and digital drive experienceHigh school graduatePrefer associates degree or equivalent in electrical maintenance experienceBe able to read, write, and speak EnglishBilingual a plusKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesComputer literate and able to use existing systems and grow into company networked program of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.
