Account Executive (Producer)We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Account Executive (Producer) to generate new business, develop client relationships, and grow a profitable book of business across commercial and personal lines. This role is designed for a sales professional who is highly motivated by production, relationship building, and long-term ownership of client outcomes.The Account Executive, Producer will be responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities, partnering with internal service teams to deliver a strong client experience, and driving retention and cross-sell opportunities over time.Robert K Jones Insurance has served the Dayton community for many years with a commitment to personal service, trusted guidance, and long-term relationships. We take pride in helping clients protect what matters most through reliable insurance solutions and a welcoming local presence.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business through prospecting, referrals, centers of influence, networking, and targeted sales activityBuild and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities across commercial and personal linesDevelop trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects by understanding risk exposures and recommending appropriate insurance solutionsPartner with account management and service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and high-quality ongoing client serviceDrive profitable growth with a focus on desirable client segments and strong underwriting disciplineMaintain an active presence in the marketplace and represent Robert K Jones professionally in the communitySupport renewal strategy, client retention, and cross sell opportunities within the bookMaintain compliance with all licensing, carrier, and regulatory requirementsStay current on carrier appetite, underwriting requirements, and industry changes impacting commercial property and casualty clientsSuccess Looks LikeAdoption of our sales process with measurable activities and outcomesAttaining new and renewal business goalsContinued improvement in insurance principles and details regarding product offeringsStrong working relationships with service team members, underwriters, and internal teamsRequired QualificationsProven success in insurance sales, business development, or producer rolesStrong knowledge of commercial lines, personal lines, or bothDemonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new businessEntrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability for resultsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsActive insurance license required, or ability to obtain promptly if applicableApplied Epic experienceBenefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including flexible time off, 11 paid holidays, a 401(k) with 100% match on the first 4% with immediate vesting, and medical, dental, and vision plan options with 90% employer paid.All eligible team members participate in the Purpose Plan, an equity incentive program that lets you share in our long-term success through an equity pool that can grow over time.Compensation range: $55,000 - $67,500 base salary + uncapped commission Realistic total comp of $150,000 - $200,000+ at full rampEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of any pre-employment testing required for the role and a satisfactory background check. This may include verification of licensing and credentials, employment history, and other checks consistent with applicable laws and business needs.
