The position is limited to the summer term (three months).Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with the development and implementation of machine learning models for medical and imaging data analysis. Support algorithm design, optimization, and validation tasks, including work on neural networks, computer vision techniques, and structured data integration. Contribute to research on advanced topics such as generative AI models, foundation models, and plug-and-play priors as applicable to computational imaging. Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and result interpretation under faculty supervision. Assist with manuscript preparation and documentation of research findings. Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from an accredited U.S. institution. Proficiency in programming languages including Python, PyTorch, C, C++, and MATLAB, and familiarity with Linux environments. Research experience in machine learning (especially generative AI), computer vision, or algorithm development with applications in computational imaging. At least one peer-reviewed research publications in relevant fields such as machine learning, computer vision, or computational methods.
