Certified High School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Brenham, TX
This contract opportunity is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with specialized skills to provide behavioral support across elementary and life skills classrooms in a dynamic school setting located in Brenham, TX. The role involves working directly with students, including those with aggressive behaviors, and supporting behavior intervention strategies from elementary through high school levels.Key Responsibilities:Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions and support to students in elementary behavior and Life Skills classroomsAssist with behavior management strategies and support for students with aggressive tendencies, particularly in the Life Skills settingCollaborate with school staff to implement behavior support plans and progress monitoringUtilize CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) techniques when applicable for managing challenging behaviorsSupport students across multiple campuses, adapting approaches to meet individual student needsQualifications / Desired Experience:Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is requiredExperience working in school environments preferred, with a strong emphasis on behavior/RBT expertisePrior work supporting elementary, middle, and high school students is beneficialExperience with aggressive caseloads and CPI training highly preferredAbility to work effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with educational teamsWork Details:Location: Brenham, TX school site(s)Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some variation possibleContract duration: Immediate start through the remainder of the school year, with typical opportunities for renewal and summer workThis position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational and behavioral growth by applying your expertise in behavior analysis and support.
