Financial Analyst - Controls & Avionics Solutions FP&A (Hybrid)
Financial AnalystBAE Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst with exceptional analytic skills to join the Controls & Avionics Solutions (CAS) FP&A team. You will provide financial decision support to stakeholders focused on minimizing risk and maximizing return of CAS business area profit by managing financial requirements and program execution. This role will be performed in a Hybrid work format, with the individual splitting their time between the Endicott, NY BAE Systems offices, and working remotely. As such, to be considered for this opportunity, an individual must either be local and within a reasonable commute to Endicott, NY, or willing to relocate to the area at their own expense. In this job, you will:Be responsible for the build-up of the CAS forecasted financial statements in support of the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and the 5 year Integrated Business Plan (IBP)Provide analysis of programmatic performance and evaluation of risks and opportunities to support the development of projected financial position.Work independently, but in a cross-functional team environment.Utilize strong communication skills to interface with Controls & Avionics Solutions Leadership team and others, including; ES Sector Finance team, CAS product line financial teams, contracts, operations and the engineering functionsDevelop the forecasted Working Capital summary for the Controls & Avionic Solutions business and provide analysis / recommendations for maximizing operating cashflow.Support development of weekly status reports of financial performance, for review with the CAS leadership team and ES sector Finance to provide clear status on execution to the financial forecastPrepare status reports and other program finance and administrative analysis and reporting.Other duties as assigned.Required Education, Experience, & Skills: A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.Prior experience with Oracle and HyperionPrior experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)Must have strong problem-solving, analytical and in-depth research skillsBe self-motivated with a bias for action, process/results orientedHave the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and writtenBe able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environmentMake decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and proceduresPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $66893 - $113693 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
