Our structure allows us to respond quickly to client needs, develop solutions that address complex challenges, avoid the limitations of bureaucracy, and attract talented individuals who are driven to succeed.The Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented AVP AI & Financial Accounting & Controls professional with a strong accounting foundation to join our Strategic Change Delivery team. In this role, you are responsible for the integrity of financial outputs across automated and AI‑enabled processes. You will own key activities such as reconciliations, variance analysis, and act as the team’s liaison for audit and compliance activities. This role is central to ensuring that the adoption of automation and AI strengthens controls across Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Risk functions.Responsibilities1. Accounting Integrity & Financial OversightMaintain ownership of key reconciliations of Finance functionsLead variance analysis and root-cause investigations, providing clear and timely reporting to Finance leadership.Review and approve system outputs, automation results, and AI-assisted calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness before onward use.Ensure the adoption of automation and AI aligns with firmwide control frameworks and data integrity standards.2. Controls Execution & Evidence ManagementExecute and document financial controls in line with internal control frameworks, ensuring audit-ready evidence is maintained at all times.Track exceptions, manage remediation activity, and escalate issues to the appropriate level of Finance leadership.Prepare walkthrough materials, control evidence, and support documentation for internal and external audit engagements.3. Audit & Compliance LiaisonServe as the primary point of contact for audit and compliance queries across Finance transformation workstreams.Coordinate with internal audit, external auditors, and regulatory stakeholders to support timely and complete audit responses.Maintain a thorough understanding of the control environment and proactively identify areas of audit risk arising from process or technology change.4. Automation & AI Output ReviewAct as the second line of review for AI-assisted calculations and automated outputs, working in partnership with the Intelligent Automation BA.Apply professional skepticism and accounting judgement when validating automated results, escalating anomalies to the Head of Strategic Change Delivery as appropriate.Contribute to the governance process for determining when automation outputs are production-ready and meet the required standard for Finance use.5. Stakeholder Collaboration & CommunicationEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with Finance, Tax, HR, Payroll, and Technology teams.Communicate control requirements and accounting considerations clearly to cross-functional teams involved in automation and AI initiatives.Support the Head of Strategic Change Delivery in stakeholder alignment across Finance Transformation workstreams.Work in close partnership with the Intelligence Automation BA to ensure AI‑enabled and automated workflows are designed with appropriate accounting treatment, control frameworks, auditability, and financial integrity embedded from the outset.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.Minimum of five to seven years of experience in finance or accounting-focused roles, or equivalent accounting/controls experience.Strong working knowledge of financial accountingDemonstrable experience executing financial controls, managing reconciliations, and preparing audit evidence.Ability to critically review automated and AI-generated financial outputs with sound accounting judgement.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsProfessional accounting qualification or equivalent.Experience working within Finance or Controllership functionsWorking knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Essbase, Tableau, Workiva Wdesk, Kyriba, and related platformsExperience supporting internal or external audit engagements.Base salary: Starting at 125,000, plus bonusThe actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).We do not accept unsolicited resumes, candidate referrals, or outreach from third-party recruiters or staffing agencies.
