Network Operations Center Analyst (100% Remote/EST Hours/Contract to Hire)Optomi, in partner with a major client is seeking an experienced Network Operations Center Analyst to join their team. This person will help in resolving high priority tickets, network troubleshooting, working with various teams to escalate issues as needed.Responsibilities:Network troubleshooting- both Cisco and Juniper experienceLayer 1-3 network troubleshooting and diagnosisAnswering requests for port connectivity and provisioning new connectionsClosing out ServiceNow ticketsAny X.25 or RS232 protocol experience is preferred (not a must have)Maintain excellent acknowledgement and response time to alarms and customer callsProvide high quality documentation of network failures and maintenance activity.Apply today if your background includes:Previous NOC experience (ISP industry experience preferred)Experience troubleshooting both Cisco and Juniper equipmentAbility to work a contract to hire, remote roleLayers 2 & 3 switch and router configuration and troubleshooting.Advanced customer service, organizational interaction, and teamwork skills
