MIG Welder/Manufacturing/Fabrication

Responsible for various types of curb, product assembly and final assembly operations to manufacture productto drawings, and specifications.The position is in a manufacturing/fabrication environment that is not climatecontrolled. Not a warehouse position.Preferred: MIG WeldingESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform thetask at hand.• Working with sheet metal & insulation• Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.• Assembly equipment maintenance & assembling curbs• Continuous process improvement• Safety and housekeeping.• Fast paced environment, ability to multitask• Strong time management and organizational skills.• Ability to work under dynamic schedule constraints and consistently meet deliverable timelines.• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach withhands and arms.• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depthperception, and ability to adjust focus.• Personal Protective Equipment may be required when working in designated areas. The noise level inthe work environment is moderate.• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the Englishlanguage.• Experience mig welding 20-10 gauge sheet metal• Experience with mig welding or documented welding training• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the Englishlanguage.• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
