Senior VP of Dedicated Transportation Sales

Hogan Transportation is a 100 year old full service multi faceted transportation company operating throughout North America with a tradition of unparalleled personalized service to clients utilizing first class equipment and advanced technology Job Summary Responsible for setting and executing the companys overall sales strategy at the national level for dedicated brokerage and OTR Provides executive leadership to the sales organization driving revenue growth market expansion and customer satisfaction Partners with operations marketing and executive leadership to align sales initiatives with company objectives ensuring sustainable growth and profitability Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develops and implements the companys national sales strategy to achieve revenue margin and market share goalsLeads mentors and develops regional vice presidents sales directors and account executives across multiple marketsEstablishes and monitors KPIs for sales performance customer acquisition retention and profitabilityBuilds and maintains relationships with top tier customers shippers and logistics partnersOversees major contract negotiations pricing strategies and customer agreementsAnalyzes market trends competitor activity and customer insights to refine strategies and identify new opportunitiesCollaborates with operations leadership to ensure service capacity aligns with customer demandPartners with marketing to develop brand visibility advertising and customer engagement strategiesManages the national sales budget including forecasting resource allocation and expense controlRepresents the company at industry conferences trade associations and high level customer meetingsProvides regular reports and strategic recommendations to the executive team and board of directorsPromotes a culture of accountability customer focus and high performance within the sales organizationOther duties as assignedRequirements Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field required; MBA preferred10 years of progressive sales leadership experience with at least 7 years at the executive or senior regional level in transportation trucking or logisticsProven ability to set sales strategy and manage a sales teamDemonstrated track record of driving national revenue growth and building high performing sales teamsStrong knowledge of freight markets transportation industry dynamics and logistics solutionsProven ability to negotiate large scale contracts and manage executive level customer relationshipsExperience managing multi million dollar sales budgets and P&L responsibilityExcellent strategic thinking leadership and communication skillsAbility to travel extensively to support national business development and customer engagement
