As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting project delivery by managing project information, coordinating documentation, and helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and project team, acting as a key contributor to project success through technical insight, financial awareness, and proactive problem-solving.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Manager in executing and managing the change management process, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyAct as a key contributor in monthly cost reporting meetings, providing meaningful insights and analysisAdhere to and support project controls procedures, including cost tracking, pay applications, and reportingCoordinate and expedite material procurement and delivery to maintain project schedulesReview and evaluate shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract documentsEnsure all project documentation is collected, organized, and distributed effectively across stakeholdersPromote innovation by encouraging teams to explore creative solutions to challenges and opportunitiesFoster a customer-centric approach, proactively reviewing feedback and strengthening client relationshipsDemonstrate understanding of various market sectors and delivery methods to enhance service deliveryMentor and coach junior team members, supporting their professional growthContribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environmentHere's what you'll needBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field2 or more years of experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or large trade contractorEquivalent combinations of education and experience will be consideredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex informationProven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Demonstrated ability to set measurable performance goals and hold teams accountableStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, collaboration, and engagementUnderstanding of financial management principles and how project performance impacts profitabilityAbility to tailor communication style to diverse audiences, including delivering clear presentations and technical documentationWorking knowledge of construction cost controls and reporting practicesFamiliarity with MEP systems and coordinationStrong understanding of contract documents, specifications, and construction processesOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
