This role ensures timely, compliant intake activities in partnership with clinical partners while directly supervising intake staff and supporting placement needs.Essential Job FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.Complete intake activities, lead complex or sensitive cases.Provide strategic oversight of intake operations to ensure timely, equitable access to services and an efficient referral-to-admission process.Lead, coach, and develop Intake team members, fostering accountability, professional growth, and high performance.Partner with the clinical team to establish and reinforce consistent matching standards to support quality outcomes and appropriate service placements.Partner collaboratively with Program, Clinical, and Recruiting leadership to align intake capacity with workforce availability and operational needs.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with funding sources, referral partners, and external stakeholders; support referral development and community outreach efforts.Oversee compliance of intake processes with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards, ensuring documentation accuracy, audit readiness, and timely corrective action when needed.Provide decisive leadership during emergencies, service disruptions, or urgent placement situations to ensure continuity of care and operational stability.Performs other related duties and activities as required.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManages assigned personnel. Completes performance evaluations, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.Minimum Knowledge And Skills Required For The JobThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.
