Mechanical Design EngineerWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in mechanical design. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on designing and improving mechanical systems and components for commercial Responsibilities:Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings with accurate GD&TCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, R&D, and quality to ensure design feasibility and performanceConduct tolerance analysis and support design validation through prototyping and testingParticipate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environmentExperience w/SolidWorks or related CAD programIntroductory knowledge in machining, sheet metal, or light automationFamiliarity with PLM systems and engineering change processesProficiency in CAD tools and familiarity with FEA softwareStrong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principlesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailBenefits- Competitive Salary ($80K - $120K) - Bonus - Medical - Dental - Vision - Paid Time Off - Vacation Pay - Strong mentorship opportunities
