Psychiatrist - ERPhysician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - ER to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. NCB is a 213-bed community hospital providing quality care in a friendly setting. This facility provides a range of services, and is known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women's Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric and Specialty Ambulatory services. The department of Psychiatry has 3 Adult Inpatient Units, a satellite CPEP, a Psychiatry Consultation Liaison service, a Partial Hospital Program, an Outpatient Department, and an ACT team. Opportunity Details: The ER Psychiatrist will have responsibility for clinical and educational activities in the ER Unit, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team. Participate in activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement regulatory compliance and student education. Report to their Unit Chief and Chair. Participate in our innovative integrative care activities. Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry. M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine. License to practice medicine in the State of New York. Proven ability to make sound and quick triage, treatment, and disposition decisions. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $267,900* (board eligible); $278,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $438,690** (board eligible) and $450,020** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
