Insurance Customer Service Representative
Job Title: Healthcare Client Services Representative
Location: Remote but requires occasional travel to client site in Los Angeles
Pay Rate: $19.23/hr
Job Purpose: Under minimal supervision this job provides client customer service to include bill review, managed care vendors support, managing user accounts, running reports and daily client communication.
Duties:
Respond timely to provider or client inquiries as appropriate
Proactively identify system and/or bill review issues and provide feedback to supervisors or manager
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
3-5 years experience in Client Services
High School diploma or equivalent – Associates Degree preferred
Proficiency as a Bill Review Analyst with five or more years previous experence in medical bill review (workers’ compensation preferred)
Extensive knowledge of Workers’ Compensation medical fee schedules ( multi-state preferred ), state specific regulations, Medicare guidelines, ICD-9, CPT and HCPCs codes
Proficiency with 10-key pad at 9000+ kph or equivalent bill processing rate
Ability to work in a high call volume environment while meeting productivity and quality standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and CPT / ICD-9 coding
CA Experienced Medical Bill Reviewer Designation
Effective written and verbal communication skills
