Billing Specialist Location: Fully On Site in Zionsville, IN A growing construction company is seeking a Billing Specialist with strong AIA billing experience to join their accounting team. The Billing Specialist will play a critical role in managing project billings, ensuring accuracy, and supporting timely revenue recognition.The ideal Billing Specialist understands the construction billing cycle, is highly detail-oriented, and has hands-on experience with AIA progress billings. Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist: Prepare and process AIA progress billings (G702/G703 forms)Manage schedule of values and track project progress for accurate invoicingWork closely with project managers to gather billing details and approvalsSubmit owner billings and ensure compliance with contract requirementsTrack retainage, change orders, and lien waiversReconcile billed amounts to the general ledgerFollow up on outstanding payments in coordination with accounts receivableMaintain organized project billing documentation Qualifications for the Billing Specialist: 3+ years of construction billing experienceStrong hands-on experience with AIA billing (required)Knowledge of retainage, change orders, and progress billing processesExperience working with project managers and operations teamsProficiency in accounting software and ExcelHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skills Why This Billing Specialist Role?
