CarecrowdAtlanta, NYMay 24th, 2026
92% of healthcare happens after you leave the doctor's office. No guidance. No physician. No one who knows your history, understands your condition, or can tell you what the diagnosis actually means for your life. Our mission at CareCrowd is to give everyone on earth a doctor in the family. What CareCrowd is:We are a Continuous Physician Presence platform keeping families connected to expert physician guidance between care encounters. Not a chatbot. Not a portal. A real physician advocate, present, accountable, and yours. We were recently featured in Inc. Magazine. Our founding physician panel is live and onboarded. Our pre-seed round is oversubscribed with multiple, active venture relationships. Our pipeline includes conversations with enterprise orgs you know.Who you're building with:You'll work directly with the founder: an executive with nearly two decades of experience scaling technology companies, including a fintech IPO. Your co-builder is a board-certified physician who has practiced the advocacy this platform enables. This is not a solo founder with a slide deck. This is an operator and a physician who have invested their own capital, built the MVP, and are ready to scale. What you will build:A trust infrastructure that makes real-time physician-patient connection possible at scale: secure, compliant, and built to earn the confidence of the most regulated industry in the world.A presence graph that turns one-time encounters into longitudinal relationships: a proprietary data architecture that becomes more valuable with every interaction and harder to replicate with every day it runs.A physician operating layer that makes practicing advocacy as intuitive and rewarding as the best consumer products you've ever used; workflow, compensation, reputation, and outcomes in one coherent system. The technical surface area spans real-time communication, graph data modeling, event-driven architecture, compliance infrastructure, and deep EHR integration. You will help make the foundational decisions that define this platform's technical identity for the next decade. This is infrastructure that creates a category. The details live behind an NDA.What you will own:All technical architecture decisions for the seed-stage platformThe choice of frameworks, services, and data models that define this company's technical identity for yearsHiring and structuring the engineering team as capital allowsThe path from MVP to a platform capable of supporting payer, employer, and EHR integrations at Series AA seat at the table when we walk into investor rooms worldwideYou are a fit if:You have personally shipped and owned a zero-to-one product in production as the person who made the callsYou think in systems: data contracts, service boundaries, failure modesYou build with urgency but understand that in healthcare, trust compounds and shortcuts don'tYou are energized by founding-level ambiguity and category creationYou think about what you're building as a business, not just a codebaseYou default to clarity and precisionYou want your name on something that changes how people experience their healthNice to have:TypeScript / React / Node.js / PostgreSQL fluency Experience with HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, secure messaging, or clinical systemsFamiliarity with graph data models or real-time event-driven architecturesMarketplace or two-sided platform experience. Compliance automation experience for SOC 2 readinessThe offer:This is a founding seat. The equity reflects that.Cash: Depending on experience. Discussed directly and transparentlyEquity: Founding stake on a standard four-year vest with one-year cliff. The percentage is real, it is above market median for a first engineering hire, and it is discussed in the first conversationTitle: Founding Engineer. On your resume and on our cap table permanentlyLocation: Atlanta-based preferredWhat this is not:Not employee #12 on a product already in motionNot a roadmap executor. You will help shape what gets built and what doesn'tNot feature work. This is infrastructure that defines a categoryNot a role where equity is dangled and never definedWhat this is:A chance to build what healthcare has been missing from the founding table. With real ownership. A defined equity path. A physician co-founder who has lived the problem. And a platform thesis that holds together technically, clinically, and economically. The category of Continuous Physician Presence will be built by someone. That engineer will look back in ten years and say: I was there when it started. If you build for outcomes that matter, not outputs that simply ship, we should talk.Apply here or tag someone who should see this.
